Congratulations to our postdoctoral research associate Dr. Komal Chawla and graduate student Abhishek Gupta for their work on architected carbon nanotube foams that exhibit unusual synergistic enhancement of mechanical properties that are desirable for protective applications. The study is published in the Extreme Mechanics Letters. We work with our collaborators Team Wendy to further develop these materials as helmet liners against traumatic brain injury.
