Congratulations to our Engineering Mechanics Undergraduate Honors Thesis student Jiayan Zhang for successfully defending his thesis on a metamaterial design for hearing devices. He received the Faustin-Prinz Research Fellowship for his honors thesis research in our lab. He now heads to the University of California-Berkeley for his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering.
